2006: The ladies of "A Midsummer Night's Dream"

The first year we did these profiles and portraits to preview The Lexington Shakespeare Festival, I got a call from a local actress who said, "That's cool, but they're all guys." Point taken. In subsequent years, I'd like to think we found balance, but in 2006, we did focus on the ladies, starting with "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Mark Cornelison took the four leading ladies from the show into the woods at the Arboretum for a fanciful image. Pictured from left are Melissa Rae Wilkeson as Helena, Pamela Perlman as Hippolyta, Alicia Henning as Titania and Amanda Bonner as Hermia.
